Major Forum Downtime

I'll copy my post in here because you ninja'd me but are unspecific.

I'm sure everyone here noticed the roughly 15 hours of downtime which hit these forums today. I thought it was a bit relaxing, just having time on the forums stand still, but that's not why I'm here. Now this event, may it be unintentional or intentional, lies in the past, but it did have someimpact or at least something happened at a very specific timing so it looks like it did.
Thing is, chat's still down. Might be server-sided, but maybe I'm misinterpreting messages.
Because I'm a curious person, and I'm sure many others are, too, there are a few questions I have.
Why are we using shit servers?
Is the chat issue related to the server issue?
Does anyone here by chance know if the server will be down again soon?

irc.kottnet.net is only down not the whole IRC servers. I spent rest if my day talking to people on RVLution because I was bored as fuck. The irc.kottnet.net is still down so I've no idea what's happening. I was able to connect, but I had to use HexChat

The server isn't shit. It's fine.

We were down because my account was suspended. They said it was because of too much CPU usage, but I never use that much so they said it might be a glitch. The IRC is not connected to this server in any way, so I can't fix any problems over there.

irc.kottnet.net is up currently. Notify me via PM if there are any more IRC troubles.
