A good tip for Level/Scenery GFX!

Postby Lightining Serah » Sun Aug 14, 2016 1:43 am

Oh well, i was trying to find a good level (world map) graphic but i didn't find any good, so i decided to go to the SMBX graphic folder, then the scene folder, i took a tree graphic the name was scene-7.gif and scene-7m.gif, so i was thinking... What if i change the names and place in my world folder? And then i works! I change the name to level-7.gif and level-7m.gif so, if you want any scenery as level, change the names and put in your world folder!

Thanks for the attention!
Sorry for my grammar :D

That's pretty much a bad way to do custom graphics. You should only put custom graphics in your level/episode folders

It's not a bad way to do it just as long as the files in the graphics folder aren't overwritten.

This is called custom graphics, Serah, and you should see some of the guides in the General forum for more information.
