I'm not sure if you noticed, but it wasn't even a mariohead who first suggested the game should look like Mario. You can tell because he posted a picture of super Mario world, a non-canon game in the series.

i actually find it really fucking shitty of you that you have to include that condition in your statement to cover up the fact you guys broke the rules and derailed threads on several occasions

Just another supporter here. Been a Mario fan since I was a kid.

Also, who doesn't love the game that saved video games? Maybe gamers that don't know what really is a good game. My favorite is Super Mario 64 DS, though.

yeah, same, my favourite mario game is Dr. Mario 64. Although its inclusion in the canon is highly debated, I like to imagine that Mario really did become a doctor at some point. It would only add to the long list of things he's great at, thus making him an even BETTER character.
