I've noticed that there's been a drought of contests recently, and as a very important and active member of the SMBX Forums, I've decided to start monthly level contests! Each one will have a unique gimmick that will challenge participants to create new and original levels. The gimmick of the first contest is...

You can't use slopes!

Yep, that's right, you can't use any of those slanted beauties. With this incredible limitation in place, I'm looking forward to seeing some new and unique levels! And with that, on to the rules. Red rule violations will get you disqualified, while purple rule violations will reduce your score by one point.

Rules

• NO slopes! It's the crux of this contest. Using any kind of slopes, be it steep or not so steep, ceiling or floor, will get you kicked out of this contest.
• The judges musn't know what level you made. This includes putting your name on the filename, showing screenshots of your level, saying which level you made, etc. We can't have any bias here.
• You may only submit one level. Once you submit your first one, that's it.
• Only you can make the level. No teams are allowed.
• You must submit your level before the deadline. We won't be taking late submissions.
• NO joke or Kaizo levels! SMBX contests are very serious and we can't have any jokesters around. The level MUST be completable!
• SMBX 1.4 is not allowed! It's too much of an advantage, so I can't allow it.
• Give your level a unique, fitting name. "Joke" names are not allowed. Once again, SMBX contests are serious.
• Don't use a custom song that is longer than 6 minutes. This bloats up file sizes, we don't want a really massive file just because of this. If you have a really long track, crop the track in the music editor of your choice so it is less than 6 minutes.
• Your level must end in a star. No orbs, goal tapes, etc.
• You can have as many stars as you want in your level. In fact, secret stars are encouraged, as they almost always add to a level's replayability and overall quality.

Well, there's now quite an amount of contests for me to participate now. Guess I can try... To... Do all of them? Oh well, going to make a level with squares and that.

I have the feeling that you should extend the deadline to 2017 July 12 22:45 PM instead of the current one because it'd be too short to make a level.
