I personally don't like ridiculously active Mafia like that. There's too much going on to keep up with, and I wouldn't have the time or motivation to do so.

I would like more players though, mafia is no fun when there is under 15-20 people.

This game is so one sided at this point that I give up, no really, I'm considering stopping out for how ashamed I am of the town.

Can we seriously not make this a trend?

This goes to everyone: If you sign up, unless you have a VALID REASON to drop out (getting mad at your team isn't one of them), then you play. If you take a look at the Mafia rules, it SPECIFICALLY states that suiciding is not allowed. There's already been one player that's given up due to poor sportsmanship, and I don't want to see anymore of that.

Poor sportsmanship will get you suspended from playing Mafia. We have no room for that here. It should go without saying that purposefully losing games is not allowed either.

I'd second Town of Salem as well. I've actually seen it with 7 persons only. And I don't think there's a huge difference between the max of 15 persons and the 17 persons we have in the current game, but more power roles are fun.

i once played a mafia game where the doctor could be night killed, and could also protect himself. (and we also came up with the way you died, there was this one person who always said you where somehow crushed by a fridge)

Afaik the doctor can only heal himself once, and if he doesn't self-heal, he dies when being attacked.

And I guess ToS also includes that the role of each player is immediately revealed when they're killed / lynched, as well as their action log and their last will.

in the game of mafia i played, the doctor could heal himself infinite times, but that wasn't a good strategy unless there were only 3 or 5 people left (this wasn't on the site, this was at a camp)

The doctor being able to heal himself is not too weird, it's more of a fine balance change than something that needs to be in every game.

i would also like to mention that there was no third party ( or any other special role other then doc, cop, and mafia who kill, save, and check people, respectively) in the outside of smbx mafia game i played.
