This logo does not match the project omfg. Made by me.
As since my old project was canceled due to crap, my new project has been.. okay.
Story Plot
After the final battle with Sailor Galaxia, the Sailor Senshis now needed the Planet Crystals to unlock the Legendary Solar Crystal. The Planet Crystals were scattered around the Mushroom World 2,000 years ago. The Sailor Senshi's plummer friends, Mario and Luigi, were contacted to do this Quest. This Quest is known to be the most dangerous quest in the history. About 20 people did the quest and eventually, was never heard or seen from again. It was Mario and Luigi's chance to help obtain the Planet Crystals. Until, Bowser was snooping around the Mario Bros, now Bowser is also trying to find them too. Bowser had contacted his kids and Kamek to guard the Planet Crystals. Mario nad Luigi has set a quest to find them for the Sailor Senshis.

Well, Sednaiur released them like a couple of years ago. So in the past I was so confused that I had to ask him about it. Sednaiur gaved permission to me to use them. Since he released them.

NO
You can find them at SMBX CGFX Pack.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Judging for the screens, looks nice and detailed, especially the cave ones, and the GFX looks pretty great. Good job

So this is your project, eh? ^^
It is very funny and interesting to see that the story is based loosely around the bishoujo sailor senshi, which I quite love. ^^
A little fun fact is, that in the past I once planned to have a mario-game in style of SMW, where you can find many hidden passages that lead to the planets of all the inner senshi, where you had to beat 5 levels in each of the senshi's worlds, to get a gem with their respective zodiac-sign. So now you do something with the bishoujo tenshi -uh senshi in your plot there. xD
I can see clear differences between your graphical style and mine, but when I first saw the green pipes on your first two screens, I thought "aren't these mine?" xD
What I like to say, is that your screens really look interestingly like a "Lowser's conquest - catastrope-edition" to me. ;-)
I cannot say too much right now, since there is only two levels shown so far, but it already looks good, also in terms of visible level-design to me.
Also, I like the wooden beams you used for your underground-level - they look nicely SMB3-like to me.
I have also a question:
Will you also use NPCs resembling anime-girls? Like having the sailor senshi themselves?
One thing I can already tell you, is that you really need a lot of time, enthusiasm, and persistence, to make a project consisting solely on your own custom-GFX (I am working on mine since january 2013), so I wish you all the best to pull through your goal.
Work hard......or in the name of the moon (and the ultimate love for bishoujo) I'll punish you ;-D

Do not worry about that. Some years ago, I released a pack called something like "Revamped background GFX-pack" where I put around 30 different level-backgrounds (not counting recolors) inside. They were also used in my project, but the pack only consisted of SMB1, SMB2, SMB3, and SMW-backgrounds. I didn't put in any of my scratch-made backgrounds. :-)
The pack itself got lost when Knux deleted all the forum's boards and topics, but I guess Squishy Rex already put the pack inside the SMBX Community GFX-Pack before that, so people still can get them from there.

What you said was so touching. ;w;
Thanks for the nice detailed page right there.
For the NPCs of anime girls, I can but i'm not good in making avatars. But wish me good luck~
And it does take alot of time since there are lots of levels with many different graphics. Even the worldmap..
P.S HAVE YOU HEARD THE FULL VERSION OF SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL SEASON 3 OPENING & ENDING? It sounds so beautiful... ;-;

So far this looks like a discount Lowser's conquest.
But don't feel offended, Lowser's conquest is a REALLY good project, so all that means is that your episode still sounds good.
Though of course I would need to actually play it to form an accurate opinion.
I hope you differentiate it enough from Lowser's conquest, I wish you good luck with your project!

Guys give me some NPCs to replace for my "Spike Pillars" so it can move because basically mushroom blocks can't move.
Plus some screenshots.
The grassy level is called Calm Bland Hills. Basically not many enemies are terrorizing that place. Basically bland.
BTW Some graphics remade. Like the clouds and hills.

I think the grassland looks pretty nice, and the concept is pretty good for beginner SMBX players. Good job!

That is what I meant. It will be very hard to do a project and all it's graphics on your own, but if you work straight without letting work onto it rest too much, you will be successful. :-)
Please add bishoujo-NPCs (there is a SNES game called "Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon - Another Story" which has some fitting NPCs, that I used as a base for all my pixel-cuties), as it would be really nice to talk to the Senshi in person. ^^
Catastrophe wrote:P.S HAVE YOU HEARD THE FULL VERSION OF SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL SEASON 3 OPENING & ENDING? It sounds so beautiful... ;-;
Not for now, but I am already getting the DVD-series of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon Crystal, so it will just be a matter of time. :-P
I do not like to watch Anime in the internet - I rather get any Anime I like on DVD. :-)
Catastrophe wrote:Guys give me some NPCs to replace for my "Spike Pillars" so it can move because basically mushroom blocks can't move.
The NPCs that I know of that can be moved with layers, are the two different donut blocks, the conveyor belt, mother brain, and coins (but probably more than just this).
But still, I recomment against using NPCs for this, as you may encounter some problems with that. Rather use an invisible muncher or jelectro, and some animated BGOs like the SMB3-water BGOs, the SMB3-airship screw, or the SMB-grass BGOs. If you use these, you have more control over the animation, and also you do not run into the danger of despawning NPCs. As another benefit, the spike pillar will look like it goes behind the ceiling blocks, instead of being in the front like NPCs usually do. ;-)

The Mercury-clouds are a fun twist and idea, in my opinion. Maybe you will do this kind of stuff for every Sailor Senshi?
Also, your grassland-screens look like a resembler of the level 1-5 of my project. :-P
My revamped backgrounds fit well into your graphical style too. I think you further improved on your graphical style. ^^

I forgot that I can rip the Sailor Senshi from Another Story.. And remake them.
As for the spike pillars. I agree that not using NPCs is good for this. Since I'm afraid it's gonna overlap some of my graphics there. In a specific folder.
As for the Anime convo, you don't watch anime online? I mean yeah because you don't have to wait a week for each episode. But, it's really hard to not watch it when it comes out.
And the screenshots, yes I will do objects with symbols of every sailor senshi each world. And their "castles" that the Koopalings copied and turn it into a deadly barrier for the cystals they are holding.
And the grassland, the level waa inspired by 1-5 of Lowser's Conquest with a twist. A bland calm level. Like for me it is hard to place enemies and coins. So I decided to be a bland themed calmed themed grassland.
Thanks for the nice comments! :3

Just some remade graphics.
From now on. World 1 is a wooden grass theme.

Now this looks pretty cool! I like how you changed the BGOs to fit with the wood theme. The idea of using screws as bushes is a nice touch.

Oh wow. That looks absolulely amazing! The grapjics look neat and I love how you applied the wood texture on the hills and sizables. My only complaint is the way you use your nail graphic in rows like yhat. But thats just a minor nitpick.
