In this thread, explain the defining points of your childhood in any of these listed:
^.^')
Here's some defining points of my childhood in an long list:
- All That (Hope you guys been watching Nick back then!)
- Paper Mario 64 & Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (I always love playing those games during the weekend & summer break on my free time back in elementary school!)
- Powerpuff Girls (The 1998 original, not the shitty reboot!)
- I almost always listen to Country music as an kid
- Pokemon (I love playing Pokemon Stadium 2, Colosseum, and the first 3 generations, and I love the anime back in the seasons of the first 2 gens)
- Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time & Wind Waker
- My dad teaching me how to play chess
- Toonami (Back when it on CN back then in the 1990's & early 2000's!)
I guess I do have an interesting childhood!

My childhood wasn't filled with escapism, I mostly played with friends IRL.

I was a very awkward kid and target of bullying so my childhood did in fact have a lot of escapism. I watched a lot of 90s cartoons since that's what I had access to, collected superhero comic books and listened to progressive rock because that made me feel better. That's not to say I was a sad child, I think I made it through pretty well considering the abuse I received from classmates and parents.

Here's my information (it's TOP SECRET!):
TV Shows/Cartoons:
- Amy, la niña de la mochila azul
I also saw Teletoobies, but keep the secret!
Video Games: I had played the following games during my childhood (I don't have physical NES games anymore):
- An American Tail: Fievel's Gold Rush
- The Legend of Zelda, the Golden Cartridge (literally)
- The Legend of Zelda II: Adventure of Link
- Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, & 3
- Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, Land, and World
- Tom Mason's Dinosaurs for Hire
- and some Windows educational games.
I forgot the title of a shooting game (Contra-like), and at 15 mistook it with another one called Metroid, so when I downloaded that ROM to play it, it wasn't the game I expected. But later, I played more Metroid games, and had the idea written in my first post in the SMBX forums.
Books/Comics:
- An interactive book which you get a spider of cardboard and moved it while you read
I read a lot of books, but I forgot their titles.
Events:
- A Math Olympic competition, where I landed among the best 50 in my state, and got a PC with GNU/Linux but nowadays runs with Windows XP
Memories:
- A visit to Circus Circus (Reno, Nevada)
- Another one to Chucky Cheese (Los Angeles, California)
- Played my first arcade game, BB3, at 10, when a player had to go and left me the progress. I was afraid of playing arcade before that first time.
Other: Nothing special:
- Lived my first 9 years in USA
(I'll add more information as soon as I remember them)

Really? I still feel that my childhood was a failure... I don't know why.

There is no evidence that suggests my existence before the age of 15 so there is no childhood for me to speak of.
