Can't Stack Keyboard Inputs Multiple Times

Hey, guys, I was wondering if anybody has any help for a small glitch on my computer with SMBX? My controller isn't working, I dropped it, and the message "USB device not recognized" keeps popping up. So I'm having to use my keyboard to play SMBX. The problem is, if I've got the run button and down button held down at the same time, and I press jump, it won't register. Does anybody know why this happens? It's not completely necessary to fix this, as I can get by just fine when playing, it's mostly an annoyance.

Either your Processor is not powerful enough, or you do not have enough ram. I have the same issue, except I can press three keys most at the same time. (Two and an arrow.) This is the minimum you need for SMBX, but you need double +2 for multiplayer. (Jump/Alt Jump + Run/Alt-Run + Movement) Only issue is doing diagonals on non-arrows. You need more ram and a better processor is all!

Where are your own key configurations in SMBX because I have mine changed so 2 players can interact with 1 keyboard and I had no real issues with too many buttons pressed during gameplay.

Setup does not matter. I actually asked my dad a few days ago on the same matter. That is how I know it is either the proccesor or the random access memory!
