If you start useing cutting-programs, lightworks is perfect.
It doesn't costs anythink, you can understand it in 40 minutes and it works.
(It is in english.)
AND THE BEST: It is so good like some 80$ programs!

I use Camtasia (to record and edit videos) and it's garbage but stockholm syndrome is too strong.

Yes, Camtasia is very good, but too expensive for me.
I mean: $ 299.00!

Although Movie Maker is one of the less advanced editors, I use it since my channel isn't dedicated and just to post some derp stuff. But Movie Maker has essential tools, like cutting, that is one of the most important; text, sound, visual effects, transitions. I think the only thing that bothers me is that you can put only 1 audio file per time, and that's sometime is annoying.
