It is similar, but not identical.
Notes:
--------------------------------------------LUA-------------------------------------------
Yes, but if you want to you can use it as reskin of hammer Bro from SMB1. Lua changes just behaviour with hammer throwing and disables high jumps.
------------------------------------------FLYING-----------------------------------------
1. Moving platfrom is possible by using events.
2. If Hammer Brother will fly set "Don't move" to YES.
3. Platfrom is only background, place invisible blocks form SMB3 under it.
4. I blocked high jumps, but Hammer Bro can still easily fall from platform.
You can only use "cliffturn=1" to block all jumps.
------------------------------------------BEHAVIOUR--------------------------------------
Hammer Bro doesn't behave as this one from SMW, I don't think you can disable Hammer Bro's focus form Mario, instead he will thow more hammers at player (if you will use Lua)
------------------------------------------ANIMATION----------------------------------------
Why there're only two animations? There are only animation from SMW. One is Hammer Bro. turned to the left, second is Hammer Bro. turned to the right.
For now: It uses Lua, but it's not necessary. It is not exact copy of SMW Amazing Hammer Bro. I couldn't remove Hammer Bro's focus that's always on Mario.

That's cool plus you don't need lunalua you can simply replace as lakitu and set throwing smb1 hammers and also why is it a smb1 hammer?

Well, nope. That's not how the SMW Hammer Bros. moved. They flew in a set arch-like pattern and didn't chase after the player. If you replaced the Lakitu then it would just chase after the player.

I made something similar to this and replaced lakitu and it was perfect

What Linik said is a really good point. Really, this doesn't act at all like the Amazing Flying Hammer Bros. did in SMW. They have a set, parabolic arc that they follow, and you can hit the platform they stand on from below to destroy them and use it as a platform yourself

The creator already said in his post that it's not a exact copy of it.
Not even lunalua can do everything yet

It is possible to recreate the amazing flying hammer brother in lunalua, although doing so is a pain in the butt.

Even though it's updated, the image doesn't reflect this. I would change the image if I were you.

Maybe if it were attached to an invisible moving platform and the platform was set to move in an arc.
