Because redigit lost interest. But, we are doing 2.0 and there is an unofficial 1.4.2. (I know redigit is back)

No one except Redigit has the source code of SMBX.
However PGE is an alternate editor.

Redigit stopped working on the thing and got sued by nintendo.
But some peeps from here actually made some alternate programs (PGE, LunaLua, 1.4 and 2.0)
