Mushroom Hoppin'

It's a pretty short level that is basically hopping from one mushroom to the other. There's also a secret in the level too!

Gameplay (60%): 2/10
Um...what??? Not even 5 seconds into the level and I'm already at the halfway point. 20 more seconds later and the level ends...? You did say the level was short, but I didn't think it would be THIS short, The gameplay that's present is very fun, but it needs to be LONGER! This level didn't even take me 30 seconds to beat! I'm pretty disappointed, actually.
As for the level itself, the enemy placement and variety was good, but this level didn't have any coins, like witchking666 mentioned.

Design (30%): 7/10
I really liked the mushroom tileset that you used, along with the recolored Koopas (the blue ones looked especially nice) but there's ONE thing that stuck out to me. The pipe that leads from the secret area uses a ghost house block as an elbow piece...why would you do that? You could have used the brown or blue SMB1 blocks and it would have looked much better.

Music (10%): 1.5/10

Putting it bluntly, this is probably the WORST Mario remix I've ever heard. It's also a remix of the Super Mario World theme, which doesn't really fit in a Super Mario Bros. level.

Design (30%): 21/30
Music (10%): 1.5/10

Overall Score: 34.5/100 = 3.45/10 (Average)
This level had potential, but it was pretty much wasted by the level's ridiculously short length.

My Review:

This is actually a weird little level. It takes a total of one minute to do the entire level, so I will rule this as a "casual level" since I can't take this level seriously.
As a few notes though:

-It would have been cool to have every turtle be the same color as the mushroom it was on: IMO
-Mushrooms can't just spawn on a mushroom, they form from a central stem a majority of the time.
-If you have a stem, make it lead to a mushroom. Using these as BGOs feels incredibly weird and disconnected
-I highly recommend making the level longer by a few more minutes and incorporate multiple sections.

But that is all I have for the notes. I won't give this an honest review unless specifically requested. As of now, I will consider this as a "Casual Level" due to its laid-back nature.
