Hello ! this is the easiest and most beautiful graphic I designed. And believe it will have much use in smbx:
This chart allows you to see the BG2 and the BGO the same time!
Screen:
Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/f9nep ... +Water.rar
Hope you like it, it gave work to mount the screen! xD
Note: the screen Tilesets will not be included.

That is very different of what it used to be. That makes the Water some interesting effect going on. A relatively nice idea and never thought of doing this by myself before until at this time. Very nice Work.

I've been busy lately, but I just thought I'd drop by here to say that you're not the first to use dithering to create artifical transparency. I'll download this anyway, though, because this could easily save me about 3 minutes assuming I ever make a SMB3 level (pigs will probably fly before that ever happens). Thanks!

Very well done, yet simplistic. Someone probably has done this before but this is probably one of the personal favorites of mine that I have seen. I could definitely see myself using this in the future!

I beg you to please make the top of the waterfall and the bottom of the normal water crystallinelized aswell, that'd make these BGO's the most beautiful thing EVAR.
EDIT: My bad, this looks AMAZING! I forgot to add the other water so I got the waterfall and the top only.

These look pretty awesome!
I'm trying to map out a Labyrinth-Zone-like level, and I might use these tiles.

well this just goes to show how useful dithering is. Although png is supported now, it still works. (I'm pretty sure png is supported, but I could be wrong)

This is great Cacazk. I'm going to use this in my episode, however I had one question. Could you expand on this graphic by making the top of waterfall, and other color versions, as well?

PNG is supported if you use a version of SMBX which uses Lunalua. With PNG, you will also get the correct transparency, rather than whatever nonsense SMBX is doing by default. PNG graphics also require no mask.

ok yeah that's what I thought. So yeah you could use png file formats to help with the water transparency.

A nifty little graphic, simple, but looks amazing. It looks way better than the default water.

The dithering wasn't necessary, but it's cool to see how you used it. Also nice job using transparency

There's no trasparency. The dithering is what makes it look trasparent, so it is necessary.

again, sadly, an overly old thread from a person who doesn't really check the forums anymore
I'd suggest e-mailing them but it also only has a small chance of success

Cool, it reminds me of the water in SMW, I like how it appears see-through with the checkerboard pattern.
