Yeah. I was much younger and dumber in the first one. XD hahahaha

Hopefully my level design shows improvement from the first contest. I'm pretty ashamed of it now. XP

Took a few years off, and now I've been back since last January. Hopefully I'll get a decent place.

You have potential as a designer. Just don't make your levels incredibly long or make them entire episodes lol.

But if the first post doesn't say anything shouldn't it be common sense to know that you can use custom gfx for the stars.

Unless I miss counted, their is anywere from 68 to 70 participents as of the message.

He probably got confused by this rule, thinking that only SMW or SMB3 star is allowed.

Not necessarily. Just because people join the contest doesn't mean they'll submit a level.

Well, half of the tier 1 levels are joke levels, the other ones are basically very poorly made.
Also, I hope I can get top 15 this time, true I'd be quite satisfied with top 20. Hopefully my level will not a super hard level. (I'm quite surprised that I've beaten Zant's level in the prev. contest)

Top 20? ehh, I only want to actually finish something in time lol. Been a while since I last did SMBX so not really expecting a lot this time

yeah idc qhat i place for me, those competitions are fun. It's more about being part of it then only focus on winning or get a good place.

I just hope that I won't be to lazy to finish my level. I'm also trying to figure out how many joke levels will be in the competition. And also how many of them are actually funny :/

Shooting for something above tier 1 this time. I submitted a level for CC9, but I had no idea how to use custom graphics (not that vanilla is bad), the level was cramped and generally unfair, and overall it was mediocre which is why it placed in tier 1. But hey, I know how to use SMBX a lot better than before (still don't know lua at all though but whatever).

I should probably get started on my level though. Each contest I've procrastinated on, so I should at least TRY to submit a level this time. I doubt I'll place above 30th, but I suppose it's all part of the learning experience.
