The hacker group Anonymous is planning a strong attack on ISIS through social media, announcing December 11 as "ISIS Trolling Day".

It caught my attention in that it's an exercise in trolling (though I wouldn't be any good at that). They want people to post the hashtags "Daesh" and "Daeshbags" when they post against ISIS, and they also want goat pictures which reference the wives of ISIS leaders.
One goal of Anonymous is to show that there are more people who are against ISIS than who support them; another is to get pro-ISIS accounts removed from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. I think there's one more goal, as Anonymous also wants people to show that ISIS does not represent true Islam.
Normally, I am
strongly against trolling. But in the case of ISIS, I really want to see the results of what Anonymous does.
