runtime error 70

this happened to me last night.
The text in the window was :
Runtime error 70: D/ SMBX crap/ Levels/ Mine/ [level folder]/ background2-27.gif

Can somebody explain me this?

I've not encountered it myself, to be honest, but check the graphic. Is the filesize too large? Are there too many colours?
