SMB.420 - Stage #1

The first level of the series "Super Mario Bros. 420" and overrall my first level

This series had TOUGH levels, and this one is the first one, this doesn't seem really hard, but is hard, and the other ones are worse..

The SMW and SMB3 stuff really clash and there is an apparent lack of BGOS,but still good for a first or second level.

Getting a shell in the face right at the start of the level isn't hard, it’s unfair.

It clashes bc he uses it wrong. Normally it doesn't clash but this guy didn't use it right.

The level itself looks unfair from the start as you have to react 0.3 seconds.

Good thing cheats exist

And now let's be honest.. i don't think you tested this actually or you really want to give the player an unfair challenge as most of the stuff you did are pretty much cheap deaths which no one likes

Official short Review

There's everything wrong with this level in 40 words or more. It's some sort of kaizo one, which is terrible. The gameplay is short and possible without cheats (not kidding), but it's nowhere as good. There's music, which isn't fitting, clash, terrible and unfair placement, awful atmosphere (counts every section) and other errors. I don't think there's nothing more to say here, it's just horrible and not enjoyable at all.

1. You know that I fixed the level right? It's going to be on the episode and much better than the old one.

2. I upload this for fun. Not to be in a "Trash Can"

I know how terrible my first level was.. tho

If it's supposed to be "just for fun" kind of deal then the level itself is supposed to be in the "Casual Level" Subform rather than in the "Level" Forums to prevent from getting a rating out of it.

I did played your level, it was for sure kaizo relative and I didn't really enjoy it... but least it was playable though. It's just that kaizo quality levels usually don't go well with most of the regular levels we have right here.

You're kinda right with that tho. I try to add more effort, besides I fixed the level (edited it) But thanks for the advice.
