Will SMBX ever be remade?

Postby Wkay » Thu Oct 15, 2015 1:43 am

A lot of people have made videos about their own remakes of SMBX, but they've never completed it and yet abandoned it.
This lead me to the question if anybody will actually fully recreate the SMBX experience, just better with more features.

SMBX was discontinued before the call happened.

I thought it was only discontinued when Nintendo called Redigit.

I'd just like for Redigit to dig up the source code and just give it to us so we can finish what he started. Lawyers be damned.

Redigit stopped working on SMBX around the time he was developing Terraria and made it official around April 9th of 2011. The call was a completely unrelated event that happened afterward.
