The X Initiative
The X Initiative is going to be a huge collaboration series involving an in depth story. Anybody that is reliable can join the project and help with level/overworld/HUB design, graphics, story, bosses, songs, and much more! Some of the episodes may have an overworld or a HUB. However, the episodes will be made out of order (, like how Star Wars was).

Main Story (Current):
On a beautiful day in the Mushroom Kingdom, darkness falls and the feeling of a dark spirit forms. A creature of devastating power appears, it's name is "The Corrupted". The Corrupted tears a hole in the fabric of space and time itself! Beings from different realities and dimension are sucked from their worlds into the Mushroom Kingdom. The Corrupted plans are enslaving the kingdom and every other dimension. Thankfully, mighty and powerful heroes have been transported to the kingdom. Heroes such as Mega Man, Mega Man X, Link, Kirby, Samus, and many others are now in the fight as well against The Corrupted. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and with the help of the others heroes, plan on destroying The Corrupted by seeking out weapons to destroy it.

Bowser's Fleet:
Bowser's Fleet is the first episode in production, though is the 3rd episode. In this episode, the Heroes must stop Bowser from taking over an ancient island that only appears every 1 million years. This island is said to have a weapon of unimaginable power that can help defeat The Corrupted. Bowser plans on using this weapon for his own purposes. The Heroes must put a stop to his plan, and secure the weapon.

The SMW stuff clashes with the SMB3 stuff in the first screen, I'd change that if I were you.

Imo smw and smb3 together looks good.
It looks like this community is so obsessed about the word clash now which is really sad to see.

That vanilla graphics... Is so... Man...
I like when someone do a really good work on the level only with the default graphics, it let the level more beautiful than the levels with custom graphics. Of course, if you want make a good episode and different episode you will need 1 custom graphic or 2 at least... But this vanilla scenario is Perfect!

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while, I have school and football going on. Here is a level for an area in the episode Bowser's Fleet. The area is the Forgotten Plains and the level is called "Miner's Department".
The level's still a work in progress, so please comment!

This is pretty good for a vanilla episode and for a first episode.
Although the two castle blocks in the first screenshot make minor cutoff, but everything else is fine.
I won't complain about clashing since that I hate it when people complain about it.

Okay guys, dilemma. I don't know if I should stick with the HUB style overworld, or if I should go with a traditional overworld. If I do a traditional overworld, I may include the original HUB as a secret easter egg.

I am working on Morton's level, but I came across a problem with autoscroll.
I looked at a level from The Invasion 2, and made sure to do the autoscroll like that one. No matter what, the blocks disappear.

Except that autoscroll doesn't work with moving layers, but by resizing the section to one screen, clicking on set in section setting, and re-resizing the section to how it originally was.
