Edit: To clarify, this is a heavily edited background from a cutscene in the into if I recall correctly. I don't even know why I made this.

Okay, this is a really nice background and I would love to use it, but...

I really can't think of any tilesets and BGO's that would fit this. I mean, it's gorgeous, but I don't know how I would fit this into a level without someone freaking out over "Clashing styles" (That hurt to type)

...but I would love to see you rip / create more backgrounds. We need 'em.

Both backgrounds are awesome. Though I second the tileset matching problem. Would Final Fantasy VI influenced tiles work?

ROM hacks like Brutal Mario are inspiration for what I like doing in SMBX, I noticed Seiken Denetsu was a popularly used ROM graphics and thought the background would be nice.

It would be clashing badly, but there's a certain charm to these clashing graphics in some odd way to me.

That helps. If they pulled it off in Brutal Mario, I think a tileset match can be done here too.

Love it! I really like this background a lot and it's very useful... but it's a bit too realistic compared to the whole Mario foreground tiles but oh well, it still works. Good work!

I'll add these to the first post when I get the chance, I'm also modifying the night version, that moon kind of sticks out badly, and the stars shouldn't be that dark.

Also do you want a repeating moon in your background aswell? Might suggest removing the moon unless you replace the background on the SMB2 cave or SMB3 pipes background but then it will loop vertically and can be placed kinda awkwardly so yeah... whichever you decided.

This is from Seiken Densetsu, so the 2nd moon is meant to be there.

Here, this is what I originally based this from.

There's actually a night looking version of this background, neat, but in the end, I'll just let the community do what they want with it.

i'm using it to make my "Heaven Skies" level, so it fits perfectly on cloud levels
