Hey welcome to my cool little smb3 styled project
It is will be a pretty standard episode with regular mario gameplay.
i am trying to keep all the levels as original and independent as possible
and i will try not to pretty much have a series of regular grasslevels with no independent gimmicks
but instead make them all have a "kinda" recognizable gimmick
but lets go on with the actual interesting stuff

Plot

this story started when something terrible was found, The orb of primal fear, an ancient artifact of evil nature with unlimited power that could control bodies, enslave minds and brings everyones worst fears to life, and now its in bowsers hands!
And thats where mario comes in!


Mario found himself waking up in the middle of a battle
He instantly run out the door, still wearing his pyjamas he ran away from his house to help the other citizens of toad town in the fight.
Which turned out to be a good thing because right after he ran away, he saw a big airship flying in the air
They were bombing Toad Town systematicly to ruins, Mario then ran away from his house to look for Luigi, peach and the others.
but when he got to Luigi's house, he found out something terrible, it was bombed to the ground.
Mario then screamed Luigi's name, hoping his brother would answer back, but he didn't
After seeing a similar situation in the house of Captain Toad when he ran by it, he hurried to peach castle as fast as his legs could carry him.
But when he got here he found nothing but a stone foundation surrounded by a bunch of ruined walls
but when mario looked beyond the ruins of the castlewalls, he saw the true scale of this crime
the whole city was either being bombed or set on fire with flamethrowers
the airships stopped bombing the place and were now shooting every citizen on the streets with guns and lasers
but the most astonishing thing was that the whole sky had turned purple and that there was a giant purple wormhole in the sky
which the airships were using to get away from the battle
and when all ships were gone mario and four other survivors being a yellow toad, a blue yoshi, a black yoshi, and a green toad which was only five year old
went to look for these airships so they could avenge the deaths of Luigi, Captain toad, and most of all, Princess Peach!

(Before I get flamed for Luigi, Captain Toad and Peach dying, They don't actually die, they are just kidnapped and can be unlocked in later worlds)

You should probably make the star coin and the sign darker in withered woodlands.

thats allready being done
i am really strict when i comes to athmosphere so don't worry XD
i am pretty much recoloring everything in that screen to be more depressed

in the same way withered woodland is also used in ludwig' shadowstar and waddle derps project
i am planning to make such a crap ton of levels that is doesnt matter if some levels go into multiple projects

Uhh, that just lowers the aseateocs of the episodes if a level is reused!

judging for the screens, they ldesign looks great. Especially the cloud level ones.
There is SMW "?" sign in the cloud pathway screen. You should recolor it to SMB3 and it will better.

These are old screens (well not actually old)
But from before i moved it to my actual episode pack with a design kit

Also some of the npc's are different
I'll make new screens of the levels that allready exist
And ill also add some new ones
