Okay let's take a quick look:
I list the levels in order like they do in the level editor i did play this but there are levels i had to edit also to actually get to the ending:
- The level 2castle uhm... yeah nothing much to say there it starts with a little go down and avoid the npcs and spikes. Latter you have to use the leaf to slowly fall down and avoid the spikes. Then you go in the pipe where the entrance and the exit is placed wrong. You supposed to place them 1 block lower not the middle.
Well let's talk about the Mother brain fight. Easy by that i mean really easy. All you do is throwing one ice block at it, another one, another one and thats it just throw them you can't really die there the rinkas are dodgeable but the upper npc section doesn't make sense.
-Block Palace: Okay idk why this is in it. Theres a sign which says "Step on the goomba" so practically all you do here is kill the goomba enter the pipe and thats it. BTW killing the goomba doesn't do anything.
- Bowser's castle: Well, it's not really a Castle in fact it's a little end bossrush against Ludwig, Larry, Mother Brain and Bowser in the end. You can even skip the Larry battle bc the warp isn't hidden. The battle aren't though also even if you added 2 boos to Ludwig and 2 rinka shooters to larry.
- Cookie Cave: This level isn't that great for real. It's a really cramped cave and the realllly bad thing is.. if you want to make it to the goal you have to be small which means if you go into it having a power-up you forced to loose it. And nobody likes that.
- Ghost House: Well... not the best i saw you can skip the Big Boo battle as the warp once again isn't hidden only the door is. The rest is just warping to find the battle with Ludwig. Oh i should mention if you get into the pipe which has warp 5 you can't get away from that spot bc there is no other warp that takes you back, level wrap is off and the springboard doesn't give you enough jump to get over there. So once again you forced to kill yourself. Nobody likes that
I will not talk about home bc all i see it serves as a intro
- Orange Ocean: Okay first off big no.. you can simply use the Underwater setting under settings instead of having 1 billion water layers. I also don't understand why there are fishbones in the ?-Blocks same with the Ice blocks. What i also noticed is that you kinda spammed the fishes. Theres is this warp which leads to this mouser battle. You can either die instantly to the kamikaze or survive. Even if you manage to beat them you have to kill yourself bc there is no way out. Theres a section with the goal but there no warp to it. Theres also this Grey ?-Block which has a poison mushroom in it. Doesn't do anything. And thats the level.
- Pie Plains: Okay it looks not bad but not good either. All i can say here is the thing with the yellow blocks from smw. IF you get hit by the swooper in the cave which turns you small you can't get out of there if you didn't unlock the warp. Theres not much for me to say about it it's relative short.
- Sky: The first thing i couldn't avoid... the Bridge Cutoff. In Section 4 theres a pipe with a warp far behind but it ends the level just like the goal you can get. What i don't get is the thing with the smw galoombas in the bubbles. It's not like they can do any damage to you if you don't touch them. Theres this section with blocks saying "Secret Room" but... you can't get there so yeah it's so secret you can't even get the secret.
- Spike Dungeon: OMG once again this is cramped but it lives up to the name it has Spikes. The part after the cramped Dry Bone, Thwomp rampage is eugh. I can't say how damn that was. You take the propeller block and what do you do? Yeah you try to fit into a small hole without touching the spikes or the lava if you do you die. In the last part of the first section you dodge laval while flying to the door. You get the checkpoint and battle Larry thats it.
- Star Station: Deservers as a get some drugs station? Joke aside you can get power-ups. Altough the clock doesn't really help bc you can't take it with ya but hey theres plenty 3-UP Moons. Oh yeah the toad says "Don't hit the self-destruct switch" if you do hit it it spawns 1 million bowsers and you dead.
- Start: Same like Pie Plains.. not good not that bad. The water section is kinda uneeded you don't have to go there but it shows spammed fishes and spammed water layers. Not much to say here for me.
- Subcon: Yeah Subcon... starts off with a mouser battle. You could get in the vase but it's blocked so you gotta fight. Theres a load of invisible 1-UP Mushroom blocks no idea why but ok. After Mouse you in a really tiny area with Wart you can't really dodge him that much. You throw them veggies so quick he can't do anything if you lucky just avoid the rinkas which are once again used.
- Toad House: Not much to say here the odinary Toad House where you can get items and Yoshis.
- Warp: The last one i saw in this. But what does it do? Theres nothing. So dunno why thats a thing.
Conclusion:
- Almost no bgo we're used the only ones i noticed where in Start, Pie Plains and the GH maybe i missed some bc i didn't see much use of them.
- Warps that we're not hidden so you could skip the section. Example being the Big Boo fight and the Second Larry fight in the Bowser Level.
- Fish Spam in the underwater level and the Start level.
- The only coins you can find are the Dragon ones.
- Wrong pipe placement in the Mother Brain level.
- You are forced to be hurt yourself in the Cave level and you forced to die in the Underwater one which has no exit.
- Music that doesn't fit in specific sections like the Mouser battle. The SMB2-Boss one would fit better.
- Bridge Cutoff
- Cramped Areas
Thats enough
Final Statement:
If i would have to give points... 2.5/10 it wasn't that great tbh but if you improve on your next stuff and take advise from others you might get better then now. What would help also would be looking at these threads:
