Just some cute little mouse enemies that replace the red shy guy, black snifit, and purple ninji. These sprites are actually slight edits of Yoshi's island sprites, so I take no credit in making them.
(Now includes the Double Mouse, replacing Rex. Thanks to witchking for the idea!)
(Other textures not made by me.)

They ARE in fact, quite cute. I don't really like the arms tho, maybe I'll work on them and get them more to my liking

Now THESE are the enemies I was talking about that would fit perfectly in PROX's Cheesy Desert tileset!

I actually made a mouse NPC that replaces a ninji. It's just a recolor although I did manually change the frames.

I think mice would fit better inside a fruit- or chocolate-themed environment.

Or peanut butter themed... that's what they like best.

In fact, I seem to recall that PROX made the tileset just after I made this, which is where I used the mouse enemies: http://www.smbxgame.com/forums/v ... 81&t=10985
Maybe I should do a remake of that stage using prox's tileset...

you could, just don't spam a whole bunch of NPCs in one spot xD Also you should make those npcs vulnerable to fire and ice since you provided fire flowers earlier and they didn't have any effect on anything.

Let's be real here: Mice are omnivore, practically ANY type of food-based level would work just fine for them, as well as any level set in a kitchen.

Except the smell of most types of cheese turns them off.

So, the rumors were true after all... But how come mankind has associated mice with cheese so strongly? How did it happen?

Well, the more you know.
Then again, what other kinds of enemies would you expect in a cheese level? No way am I making an SMBX Cow.

Yeah, you gotta save them for Moo Moo Meadows.

Oh god no. I have absolutely no idea how to make a level out of Moo Moo Meadows. (And frankly, I'm not too optimistic about making any future levels at all) I mean, it's a great stage but even the MarioKart 8 remake is just too simple.
I might end up making a graphic, but I will probably never use it. I am, however, working on a Giant chain chomp "Enemy".

Mario was a carpenter, a plumber, and now an exterminator?

Not to mention also a doctor, a demolisher and a boxing referee.

Maybe you could make some more types of mice?
Suggestions:
Mouse with a spike strapped on his back (with a collar or something) replacing spiny
A really fat Mouse replacing bully (he's so fat jumping only pushes him back lol)
A big mice with a small one on its back (replacing rex)
That if jumped on, will leave only the small mice walkin
A Mouse throwing cheese (hammerbro)
I could go on thinking of stuff if you want
