I'll only point out the flaws because I don't feel like pointing out the basics of level design in the "good" part.
-The design is rather repetitive. Nothing changes, and if it does, it only changes for a second before reverting back to normal. The platform ride was more boring and easier than looking for your ringing phone, the bullet bill part can't even be considered part of the gameplay, and the water part, something I would've liked to see more of in a beach level, was over before it begun.
-There are way too many coins. Each block has like 5 of them, and there are only powerups in the very beginning of the level. Luckily this level isn't difficult at all.
-The enemy and coin placement was beyond subpar and uninspired. While gradually introducing more enemies is a good concept, at least keep them throughout the level and don't discard them again! Cheep Cheeps and Bullet Bills were just... forgotten once "their part was over".

2/10 or something. Really not enjoyable, and easily forgettable.

Review of Sea Wastelands

The level design is mostly empty and isn't very good. The gameplay's casual and short, but repetetive and boring, especally the platform riding part, which makes it more boring as hell, making the gameplay a bit longer. The graphics? I don't know, they look good. the tilesets fit good for this level and that custom background object (I found it one in this level p. much) does look good, but still, the design's still lacking decoration. The use of the custom background is kinda interesting for some reason. The NPC variety is not bad, but the emeny placement is kinda a bit bad. Like Enjl said, there are too many coins and you should make block have at least one coin. You should add a bit more of emenies in my opinion. Also you should use bullet bill cannons/or something in a platform riding part, so it wouldn't be too boring.

Anyway, after this, the overall of this level is... meh. It could be longer and added much effort of it, but it looks like you didn't wanted to waste time on it, so... I'll give this an average score.
