I've had WinRAR for about four years now, and after 30 days the program started notifying me that I need to either buy a WinRAR license, or uninstall it from my computer. However, I just close down the box and everything works normally. I can still extract .RAR files even though I've been warned several times that I've overstayed the trial and need to get a license, but the program just bugs me about it and doesn't deny access to it at all.
However, I'm now a little bit worried that by overstaying the trial period, I'm committing an offense and someone is bound to find out, and then I'm going to get prosecuted for it, and forced to uninstall WinRAR or either buy a license. Is the notification that appears saying I have to get a license just to scare people, or is this serious and I'll get prosecuted if I don't uninstall WinRAR?
