This is my second episode I'll upload in this forum. It's called "Super Luigi 64 X"

Why I wanted to create this episode:

I wanted to download an episode which is based on sm64, so I used google and I searched for "Super Mario 64 X". I didn't get good results. That's why I had the idea to create an episode myself that is based on sm64.

Story:

Luigi woke up on an island. He can't remember what happened. He explores the island and he finds a strange castle...

Content/Information:

1.The Episode should have 15 main courses with 5 stars each. It doesn't matter which star you find first. For example: You could start with the 5th star and then you could take the 3rd star and then you could go to another course and get the 2nd star there... When you got enough stars, you can mess with Bowser

Basic Missions:
-Find 8 red coins
-Find the (very hard) secret course

2.You can find 3 extra courses in every level of the castle (there are 3 castle levels like sm64)

-One extra course contains 3 stars
-One extra course contains 1 star and a new power up to get other stars
-One extra course contains only 1 star

My solution of "The Bowser Key Problem"

In sm64 you can unlock a new level in the castle after you've got a bowser key, but this isn't easy to copy in SMBX. That's why I came up with this solution of this problem. You can find a way to Bowser's lair in every level of the castle, but you don't leave the level when you enter Bowser's lair. Castle and Lair are the same level. If you defeat Bowser, you'll get a key. You get warped in the castle and you can use this key to open a new level in the castle. Then a new level will be unlocked on the world map, which is the next castle level (for example: castle basement). I hope you understood this. When you have a better solution, then please post it!

Your episode looks good. But I think that King Bob Omb is a bit too small.

I agree. Perhaps you could change the size? Regardless, as fellow Luigi fan and Super Mario 64 player, I appreciate your project's concept. You definitely seem to have put much love into it, especially evident in your Blueberry Mountain screenshots. If you ever require feedback or any other sagely advice that we, the People of the United SMBX Forum, may have, feel free to ask away! Personally, I know I'll be here!

One thing you forgot on the solution of Bowser's key problem is add a star (the one in the SMW bar), so the level will change when you take a key. Anyways, this project looks good.

Step 1: make a lock graphic over a friendly NPC that says "you need the key from the Dark World" or whatever and place it on a layer
Step 2: make a warp to Bowser's Lair level
Step 3: when you defeat Bowser make a warp back to castle level, in a secluded area with a Bowser Key over SMW Star
Step 4: set SMW Star's death to hide the lock layer, and you can go in the basement

Hey, this project looks very good as I can tell. Almost everything looks great but some of them does not look right. At some of the screenshots they contain cutoffs by the tiles/blocks and on one screen inside the airship you should make the whole place or the background more blue so the whole section makes you feel that you can swim and it is also more natural that way that I have mentioned. On one screen as @FutureNyanCat2014 mentioned, the King Bomb-omb sprite contains 1x1 Pixels which does not really fit to the whole SMBX World because everything else is 2x2 Pixels...

But other than that, I do look forward to your own SMBX Project.

O.k. King Bob-omb is 2x2 pixels now. I'll upload an updated screenshot later. Thanks for your comments. I'll see what I can do with the ship background.

Ah, this Airship background is now more natural to the water enviorement now. Good work.

The project looks great so far, I like the screenshots but some levels are a little bland, but still would like to see the full episode
