They're not that bad, but they're not that good either.

This is supposed to be a decent, playable, enjoyable joke level to counter some of the Block Bollocks clones coming out recently. I know, I made one of those, but it was because I felt like messing around with SMBX, not because I wanted to start a Block-Bollocks-based level trend. This level features multiple random cats I found off the internet, as well as my own cat, Tazzy (I'll give a cookie to whoever can figure out which one she is ). The level has a boss and a few other random perks. It can get pretty tricky, to be honest, so be careful. It's still fairly designed, though. The random Frozen references are just something I threw in to add to the jokes.

I khan haz cheezburger?
DISCLAIMERS
-The 1x1 pixels are intentional.
-It is a joke level, but please DO NOT auto-Trash Can it. It is meant to have points added for good jokes, humor, etc and points taken away for crappy gameplay.
-The hitboxes on the Bullet Bills are HUGE
-The bathroom humor just sort of popped into my head.
-I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT A REVIEW OR ANY FEEDBACK ON THIS NOW PLZ

This level has Frozen references! I am going to play it!!
At least someone is deciding to take revenge on the Block Bollocks trend that's started coming out now. I'm gonna see how this goes.

Well, here's my take on this level. I know that evoking the "playable joke level" feel was your goal, and it is nice to see a joke level that doesn't feel like Block Bollocks Clone #1293946. However, I do feel like the execution could have been better. To start things off, the graphics and music, obviously, are what make this level unique. There's not much else to say about them, since they can't be critiqued like normal. The gameplay was mediocre, to be honest. The level was brief and the difficulty arose from spammy enemy and projectile placement. It was relatively linear, as well. The points in which one has to go out of their way to progress were short and easy to figure out. The boss was also relatively simple. In terms of its goal, the humor wasn't bad. It did a pretty good job of bringing cat memes to SMBX. In conclusion, Cheezburger Hills is a joke level that, while average in gameplay, does bring some level of playability to the table while retaining the light-hearted feeling of a joke level.
Graphics: 7/10
Gameplay: 4/10
Design: 6/10
Overall Level Score: 5.6/10

Why is this in the Trash Can? Not all joke levels are bad, you know.

What just happened? Did a LJ approve the review but not see the score? I'm confused now

DarkMatt wrote:3) Concerning offering feedback to levels.
-You must have played the level beforehand and you must talk about it. (I've noticed people skirting this line: so I'll clarify. Posts like, "I have started playing it and I'll give you a review when I'm done," are acceptable. I dunno why you'd do that instead of just wait until your review's done, but by all accounts that's okay to do. Posts like, "That looks cool," or, "I'll have to give it a try," or, "I'm not going to play this," will break this rule and you will receive a warning.)
-If you do not have any idea how to improve the level you're responding to, then you shouldn't post a review. Anything less than a serious digest of the level will give you a PM saying you shouldn't do that, and if you continue to do so, you'll be getting warnings for it. We enforce a strict quality control on criticism, and we won't allow lazy reviews around here.
-If you absolutely must throw a compliment to the author instead of a review, we recommend you either PM the author or give him a reputation point. Such praise is really for his ears only; you don't need to post it in a public thread.
-Off-topic banter is also not allowed in most circumstances. Talking about feedback, posting videos of you playing it, and talking about the level without critique is perfectly okay, but making useless posts will get you warned. Rule of thumb: talk about the level in the thread, the responses to it, and nothing else.
-Keep in mind that the author can freely disregard any part or the entirety of your criticism. You are to respect this right, otherwise you will be warned. We do not tolerate trying to force your way of thinking down the designer's throats.
