Of all good projects going on, such as Lowser's Conquest and Mario and Luigi's Delightful Adventure, this is probably my favourite. I love it just as much as the 1st installment.

One question...
Are you going to use Wild Western Walk and Gravitational Heaviness too?, those were very great levels.

Darkonius Mavakar: That's a pretty good idea. If you want to prepare for the boss, the boss for W2 will be on a ghost ship... =P BTW, do you want us to choose the boss sprite for you when you do get your new computer, or would you like to pick it out yourself?

Ludwig von Koopa: Thanks, that's definitely a huge compliment when there some really good projects out there. I'd like to include the levels you mentioned, but there's no space world (planned as of now) for Gravitational Heaviness and Wild Western Walk is a bit too long and hard for the desert world (W3). But we may end up including them, I'll have to talk to DM about it.

Does it NEED to be ghost related? 'cause the giant eel from mario 64 would work.
If you find the sprites that would make my job easyer, if no i can just try making/finding one

Btw i never asked this, but is the W1 boss i make okay? Or there's something you didn't like?

No, it doesn't need to be ghost related, anything you want is fine. I'll look through some graphics and see if there are any sprites that jump out.

And the W1 boss was fantastic! It was both fun and original so yeah, great job, something similar to that for W2 would be awesome.

Perfect Project so far, SuperMario7! But will you continue these series as Chapter III once you're done with Chapter II or stop the series here? I've just wanted to learn.

If you don't really have the energy, you can always hire other good designers (examples: Emral, zlakerboy357, ElTipsta, sezixor) for the 3rd part, like I said before.

Or maybe you can combine Chapter III with somebody's project (Like you did with DarkMecha) I have 3 chapters too. My Chapter II can be combined with your Chapter III if you want.

Ludwig von Koopa: Yes, that's a good idea. I'm definitely open to working with other good designers for Part III, but DarkMecha would be given priority and would need to be open to work with the other designers too (if he would like to make Part III a partnership episode, like this one).

Suckerman7 GM: Interesting idea. I probably won't do that again, just because the reason I wanted to make an episode with DarkMecha is because we have a really similar design-style and he helped me with Part I, so he was already part of the team. But like I said above, I'm open to working with additional designers for Part III!

In other news, we have some new levels to show. Expect new screens fairly soon...

World 2 is nearly complete! The next beta will be sent to our testers relatively soon, and in the meantime, DarkMecha and I are going to begin World 3: The Desert Wasteland. Here are some screenshots to show our recent progress:

You may notice I updated the main post with different screenshots. So some of the levels are yet to be shown, and that's to keep the surprise up when you play our project for the first time. Also keep in mind Ocean with Orange Oranges (shown in the second screen here) is a level kindly given to us by h2643. Special thanks to him for that. Anyway, enjoy the new screens and please leave any comments or suggestions you might have! :D

Ummm... You said World 2 is almost done. But you said you and DarkMecha are going to start World 2. Did you mean World 3?

Yeah, that'll appear in one of the final worlds of this project.

There is an announcement we would like to give:
We are looking for new beta testers! Unfortunately a part of the current team has been somewhat inactive, so we are looking for new ones, if you are interested and want to be one, we'll gladly add you to the team, but before that, we would like to know how good are your capabilities, so here are some things you should consider if want join to the team:
  • Let us know: You can send a PM to me (or SuperMario7) asking to be one, you can also leave your post here in this topic.
  • Give us an example of what you can do: We will give you a randomly selected level for you to review, and give us an example of your abilities. Just let me know if you're interested, and we will give you the level.
We will take care about the other details, if you have any question, please feel free to ask! The 2.0 beta is almost completely done, so the sooner you join of the new team, the easier it would be for us. Thank you all for your attention!
