I need help to get the game to work

so for starters i have Windows 7 on my computer

so here is my issue after i press ''Start Game'' i get to the screen saying Super Mario Bros X is a fan game and you know how it goes but it crashes after a little while after that, but i can get pass it if i Disabel the Sound then the game starts up.

so anyone have a sulotion for this?

Sounds like something goes wrong when your computer tries to run the sound files. It may not be able to run them for some reason. You might want to give us your tech specs or something.
