The Roto-Disc's effect is actually used in the game, although not as a death effect. It constructs the trail.

I'm rather aware of that, however, at the time I posted that sentence, I have no idea what I thinking. I've certainly slapped myself that merciless blunder. In any case disregard what I originally said.
