So as you guys may know my laptop broke, so i'm looking for getting a new one, but i'd like to know eich windows version is more suited for me, as i've heard mixed thoughts about the versions:
So i'd like a windows version that allows me to use SMBX, Steam without problems, i know this question may sound silly but i know jack shit about Laptops and PCs lol.
Any help, wich should i get?

I'd say 7, because it is by far, much better than Win 8. I and many other people who have tried Win 8 have had nothing but trouble with them. Windows 10, well, I've not seen much in regards to it so I can't really comment on 10, but apparently it is supposed to have more resemblance to Win 7 while still having the new tech from Win 8, but majorly improved. SMBX will run for sure on Win 7 as will Steam. On Win 8 SMBX will run, but you may have trouble with it altogether. Steam works on Win 8 for sure. On Win 10 Steam will more than likely work on it, however, I'm pretty sure that's where it gets complicated for SMBX.

I would recommend you 7,cuz its ease of use (not like 8) and its also faster (most likely)

It might be a little late for Windows 7 now, as it's on extended support. I looked at their support page and the Home Premium and Professional editions have notes to the right that say "Buy Windows 8 now!" with a link to downloads.

Go with 7. I'm still using a windows 7 laptop for like 2 years. By far as I can tell you, when I tried a windows 8, the keyboard was too different and I wasn't used to it. Windows 7 felt like the last update to being a "normal" laptop/computer for windows. (My opinion)

I've tried 7, 8, and a Mac. I always go back to 7.

I used Windows 8 before but after like 2 months of usage it oftenly crashes.
Then I use Windows 7, very great for me to use.
Windows 10? Gotta wait...

I personally like Windows 8 (possibly better than all the other OS's), but I know it's a little hard to get used to, along with the fact that it doesn't have the best reputation, so with that, go for Windows 7.

(unlocking this because it doesn't need to be locked)
If you were picking between 7 and 8 I'd definitely go with 7, but if you're getting a new laptop that comes with Windows 10 then there's little sense in downgrading all the way to 7. In my opinion, 10 is looking pretty good.

I do not like Windows 7. I like Windows 10 is very good. Many Windows 10 features bring new. Windows 10 has features including Start menu, Cortana, Action Center, 3D Builder, Microsoft Edge and more features. If you like Windows 7 because it is too old for used computers. I think.

go with windows 9 - its the best
I honestly don't know which one you should do - I use windows 7 and it works fine for me, but 8 and/or 10 might be good too.
