Renzor Subconpolis review
Design & Gameplay: 8.5/10 (counts 70%)
The difficulty and powerup ratio in this level is very balanced for a challenge level, it'd fit in a final world in an episode. The NPC variety was wide and the placement (both coin and NPC) is great. I liked the multiple Shy Guy variety too, and I could see you had put much effort and time into the level. The different parts of the level aren't repetitive, so the level was enjoyable. Also, I don't know about any other SMB2 lava levels, so it's also unique in that way.
The fun factor isn't the best but still high, so the level has just some amount of replay value, but I still say it's a well designed level that can be fun easily for challenge fans.
Atmosphere & Visuals: 10/10 (counts 30%)
The atmosphere of the level is perfect. Music fits the level very well, graphics are great, there are no cutoffs or clash. Also, the level caught the lava cavern atmosphere. True, the level had low amount of BGOs but a lava cavern shouldn't have lots of BGOs anyway, so it's not just not a flaw, but a good thing.
Score: 9/10
