We've had a few of these pop up recently and they've been closed mostly with "video/image threads aren't allowed", so I figured I'd provide a bit more explanation. We don't allow video/image threads because they don't promote discussion - all that happens in those threads is people posting their own stuff for the sake of posting their own stuff. Nobody really talks about anything and everyone seems to be more concerned with sharing their video/image. That's not discussion, that's 4chan!!!
In other words, threads for posting videos/images are primitive and do nothing to strengthen the community.
The only ones we allow right now are the SMBX screenshot/video threads and the "WIP" thread since they're specifically relevant to us, but even those threads' days are numbered.
