We meet again, SMBX. I remember all the way back in the supermariobros.org days-- especially the part where my account was banned for reporting a bug (though to be fair, that bug allowed people under 13 to register, something that wasn't allowed!

)

Of course, I continued to lurk until the forum shut down. Today I decided to Google search SMBX, and lo and behold, the community has risen from the ashes!

Hello. I'm Lu9, I'm an oldbie that has been in the SMBX community since the first forum in supermariobrothers.org,
some of you might recognize me. Since a few years ago, I wasn't active in the community, and today I decided to return
(especially because of the PGE project)
so, yeah, hi everyone!

Hello, Sparkpin, welcome back!

We've actually stayed around in various forums since 2009, although this is the first to have the original forum's theme. I assure you, the staff here is not nearly draconian as that of the original forums. At least, I hope we aren't.

Hey everybody. Flames here, I've been playing smbx since 1.2 and I want to rejoin the community (i never had an account before in a while...been 2 years at least but I wanted to start fresh, it was on the old forums I think) I wanted to rejoin because I can't afford a wii u as its $300 and my parents just bought me a laptop for my bday in May. Anyway, I'm a softcore gamer that enjoys casually playing games for hours but stops playing for a few months. I recently got pokemon omega ruby and am waiting for an sd card. I can't wait to meet all of ya and I hope to see you guys here on the forums and in irc.

Well then, hello hello. I'm Streetzero, fan of all things Street Fighter and Mega Man. Call me a Capcom fanboy if you will, but I should say that I'm no fan of their DLC practices. Still play their games anyway, its fun enough. But anyways, I'm not particularly here to actually play SMBX. Rather, this seems like a nice enough community and I have nothing to do for nearly two months or so. So you'll be seeing me around.

Welcome Streetzero! Don't worry about not playing SMBX, you can certainly enjoy these forums without doing anything related to SMBX. At this point it's more about the community.
