Ghost level ?

Postby Monkey75 » Mon Jun 08, 2015 1:48 pm

Hello.
I have a problem with the level editor.
If I create a level, tue level is created in the folder I want.
But, the level is showed in the level editor, but not in the folder (in program files), so I can't delete it.
I have this problem with level, but with worlds too (even if I manually create the folder, if I delete it, it's not deleted).

So, that's my worlds folder seen by the level editor.
And here seen normally :

I've this problem with worlds, but with level too.
And actually worlds and levels are really here, I can open "deleted" worlds and levels.
Little bit strange, and I don't know how to delete them.

So, I hope I'll get an answer, and thank you for reading me. :)

PS : my computer is in french (you can see it in the second picture).

I recommend to save your entire SMBX Folder (every contents) somewhere that is inside your "User" Profile instead of being inside your OS/Database (the one that is outside of your "User" Folder or so)... maybe that will help. I saved my SMBX files inside my Desktop located on my own "User" Profile.

I understand, but I've tried to copy my worlds, and delete the worlds folder, and recreate him, and to paste my worlds (that i've copied) in the new worlds folder, but that did nothing.
I did what you ask me, actually that did something, but not all I wanted.
That has deleted some, but not all.
Little bit strange, don't know how to explain that.
I think the problem I have is maybe due to the fact, that when I create a level, my computer doesn't make a text file(like their're in each worlds for each levels). And I don't know how to ask my computer/SMBX to create text files.
If I do that, I'll see all the levels, and I'll be able to right click and delete them.
I've done something and I've lost all of my levels, even in the bin, I can't find the "ghost levels" I want

A tab on file manager says, Show Compability files. Move them to the original folder. Or move folder to desktop

if you are running windows 8, Then i don't think it is there. IF it is. clicking it sends you to a NEW folder. drag and drop the .lvl and .wld files from that folder into your Worlds ("original") file.

I think it's resolved ! yes :)
I've moved the SMBX folder to the "user" folder, and now, the level editor create correctly a text files for each level.
So my levels are no longer invisible !
Thanks !
Dankeschön !
