Well, um. That happened. There was a section where you could fall to the left or to the right. I went right, got lost for a while, passed a Dragon Coin and then got the star. Then I restarted the level and went left, got lost again, went through a pipe that SENT ME BACKWARDS, got a 1-up, and got the same star.
...how did you get lost in that level?? HOW?? I legitimately don't understand how it's possible for someone to get lost in that level (let alone get lost twice). Also, warp 6 doesn't send you as far back as you're making it seem; plus, it also sends the player to a bonus area with coins that is unreachable otherwise.
My point is that it obviously doesn't fit a grassland.Turtwig wrote:1. 8-4 Koopa Troopa Mountain by Ludwig Von Koopa (5.16/10)
(nope, it's actually supposed to be in a volcano)
Oh, come on; I didn't know that it was "supposed to be in a Volcano area," and even I knew it didn't fit a grassland! That kind of thing should be one of the main determinants of score (just behind level design) since that's what the contest is built around. That would be like if you assigned someone The Wicked Wild (from Sonic and the Secret Rings) and he/she made a generic airship level; just because he/she may not know where the song is from doesn't mean it isn't obvious what kinds of levels the song doesn't fit.Turtwig wrote:Turtwig (4/10)
The music doesn't really fit with the level. The song that I gave you, Mt. Chimney, is really supposed to be in a volcano area. You didn't know that, so it won't affect your score much.
