Is is interesting to say the least.
They are not the ballot fighters, as the ballot fighter(singular) will be the video game character who gets the most votes in the ballot. *cough* King K. Rool *cough*
this isn't even correct

Nintendo never confirmed they would take a single fighter from the ballot
Nintendo never promised that they would take first, or even anyone from the ballot for that matter. It was just for gauging ideas.

The way Mewtwo sounds, I'm slightly worried that this will become a pay-2-win game. I doubt this is true though.

Sure they didn't, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't take our word for it. I'm not saying literally any character can make the cut. We all know that isn't possible. I do, however, want to bring up a few things that happened in the past. Ignoritus, do you remember how Sonic the Hedgehog got into Brawl? Votes. By popular demand. You can even say the same for Mega Man to a lesser extent being that he was the second most popular vote at that time, though supposedly Sakurai was looking to put at least a few third parties into the game during Smash 4's development. And the fact that they're both third parties even: mere coincidence. Anyway, long story short is that the Smash Development Team has listened to its fans before.

I didn't say they don't listen to their fans, what I'm saying is that you just made up the fact that they would only take one single fighter, and that you shouldn't just assume that if for some reason they find the most-voted character unfitting they won't skip them.

"I'm not saying literally any character can make the cut. We all know that isn't possible." I guess I can be a bit more descriptive with what I meant. Of course they'll likely consider other fighters. They will eventually make their way down to one in the ballot is what I'm saying. If they want to keep other ideas in their vault, then nobody is stopping them.

Nononono It's definitely somewhat difficult to beat level 9 Mewtwo CPU's but it's far from impossible. Mewtwo does have exploitable weaknesses but you don't absolutely need him to win. Don't worry, Nintendo DLC is a bit more fair than most other games that put out DLC (HINT HINT SPIRAL KNIGHTS).

The thing about Mewtwo right now is the fact that he just came back to the Smash scene. He can be tough to tackle for some and easier for others depending on your experience with him, and even then he is somewhat different from his Melee incarnation.

Am I the only one who thinks Mewtwo's voice actor sounds retarded lol

Also I can't be the only one having issues with "Battle! (Reshiram and Zekrom)" not playing full surround sound on my 3DS right

That song has been sounding weird as of late... I thimk the sound file is broken for it, or my 3ds killed the game. Actually why is that? I had this problem only when i get updates for smash

I have agree with Ignoritus on this one. People wanted Goku or Freddy in Smash and that's fucking ridiculous. Sakurai doesn't want third party characters to ruin the game of what it was suppose to be. Jordan, I agree with the fact that Sonic got into Brawl by popular demand, but it's also the fact that Nintendo and SEGA has been close allies in the video-game industry since SEGA became third party, and what did that lead to? Sonic Advance on the GAMEBOY Advance, it lead to Sonic on a Nintendo console and people were ok with that. Snake was recommended for Melee by the creator of Metal Gear series, but Snake couldn't get into Melee because it was already to far into development. That's the reason why Snake was in Brawl, and remember PAC-MAN? Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, asked Sakurai to put PAC-MAN in Brawl. However, Sakurai chose not to him in because he was only thinking of PAC-MAN 2D form, not his 3D appearance. And what happen? He's now in Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. All the characters were selected by popular demand, but think about that for a second. All the third party characters that are/were in Smash Bros, had been on a Nintendo console before, for a Nintendo Console Only game. That's right, ALL OF THEM. So, logically if they were to choose a character for Smash, they would have been on a Nintendo console before, so more Sonic characters and others have MORE OF A CHANCE then the rest. I'm sorry, but it's true. Look it up.

Good to know. I didn't think he would be that unbalanced.

Read my most previous post in this topic. I didn't say anything about Snake or Pac-Man, and I knew that they were requested by other game developers. Sakurai even lies to himself when he tells us something. He's done it plenty of times. Nintendo and Sega worked close around that time, sure, but the decision was made in part because of the fan influence. Hell, Sonic just barely made the cut last I read up on his inclusion in Brawl. Again, read my earlier post and you will understand what I was talking about. Oh, and quit calling me by my name please. I feel uncomfortable with you doing that.

Nah, Mewtwo's like a solid mid-tier probably, but he's definitely not broken. He's the second lightest character in the game, only after Jigglypuff and has an unfortunately tall and floaty body. Similar problems to Zelda (a garbage character in all three games since Melee) basically, but he's powerful, quick, and has a good projectile.

Sorry, I won't use your real name again. I made my point though about the third party characters, they all have been in a Nintendo Console Only game at least ONCE before Brawl, and that's so far correct.

Finally got my Lucario Amiibo. It came from China to Japan to me. Basically, it's a Chinese Japanese Amiibo. The world, made in China. Porcelain, made in Brazil.

I have no idea.

Anyway, I named him "Soulflame" (because I'm great with names :P), and he's already level 50. I had him fight "King Koopa", my Bowser Amiibo (again, great with names). I also had him do this on my "I can't even" stages, of which I've added three more.

1. Really weird shapes, ceiling and walls are blocked off, can only KO through the top. (NSMBU theme music)

2. A few very small platforms (VERY small) in the sky for a starting point, with the main large platform just below the camera so that you can only see the top of the player's heads. (original 25m music (yep, annoying repetition for the win (*cough* pokemon catching fanfare *cough*)))

3. 3 rows of VERY small platforms. I mean ridiculously small. King Koopa (50) lost to Soulflame (13) on that thing. They both had 99 lives. That's what you get when you're Bowser. You're just too big to survive, especially when he kept using his Final Smash. (midna's lament music, because that fits somehow)
