Looks like water in a way.

It looks distracting. I'd tone down the contrast on it a bit.

SMB2 Waterfall Background Objects

Postby bossedit8 » Tue Mar 24, 2015 7:56 am

Hey, aren't those inside tiles from the SMB2 waterfall Background objects? Just curious about it. About the tileset itself, they do look very nice although you could use a different Color Palette like what the others said that it's too bright for the Overall theme of it. Still, it's very useful.

It does look like either the SMB2 or SMB3 Waterfalls. I have to admit, that was pretty in ingenious if they are. I'm not convinced that it uses the right surface though, the little pebbles just don't match the flowing sand-like insides. Still a lovely tileset nontheless. Keep up the good work!

Strange effect, I would go with the waterfall idea.
