Dimensional Mine Quest; Still hiring I guess!

Yup, That's right; I decided to RESTART this project!

Why did I cancel DMQ in the first place..?

I was bored and didn't have the time + motivation to finish the game, despite it being close to completion. This time, however, I have more free time to design levels which will ultimately and hopefully result in an awesome game!

And what about the story?

Not much here yet. There will be a complex story later, trust me. I'm working on it. It will feature me (of course) as well as some of my friends on the forums. The villains will also mostly remain the same, except for 2 newly introduced characters I'm still designing. I'm aiming for some actually well-developped characters, not the stereotypical type of protagonists and villains.

Are there gonna be demos?

Probably yes, just not now. Once I finish some more levels, I'll upload world 1 plus a little teaser.

Will this episode feature levels used in the original DMQ?

Well, maybe. I'm going to have to decide what level is good enough and deserves to be in this episode, since I've gotten alot better at designing. I might have a special throwback world, but other than that; no.

Are you accepting level designers?

Yup! DMQ originally had a small team of designers, and I'd love to get the people who designed for the original to help me make this episode as well! For now, however, there's 4 spots for new designers:[/center]

Nice that this SMBX Project is back in Action. I was so prepared on this Project before but after cancellation I was Kind of sad by that. Now it's back on Action for real and I am prepared once again. Right now it Looks very nice and I really like the screenshots so far. Looking Forward to your future work.

I sure do need level designers! As for KKT, I cancelled it due to file loss and lack of overall interest. You might see some levels that were shown in that thread here, however!

I'm usually a lazy sloth when it comes to helping with projects, but I'd love to be a level designer.

Let me make some temple/ruins/dark/gloomy/atmospheric levels and I'm your person. I'm, however, not very good at making peaceful, casual levels. Count on me to do the complex stuff. I'm also good at hubs, but I'm assuming you want to make that just because it's your project, after all.

I'll PM you an example of some of my work (just screenshots) if you're unsure as to whether or not you want to add me to the team.

I was so disappointed this got cancelled, glad to see it is back in action though with a decent amount of progress too. I don't suppose you'd be keeping any of the original DMQ levels? They looked pre cool after all. Also if you need anything graphical you know where to find me. :3

As I stated in the main post, I'm gonna have someone decide wether he wants the level in this DMQ as well or not (most likey turtwig). Some of world 4's levels, the ones that never actually got released, I'm almost certainly going to use.

Are there any expectations about how levels for this episode should be? Like, 3 stars, 5 dragon coins, certain level style, certain level theme, etc.?

I was just wondering.
