We all have a reason to love or hate a video game. Is it possible to like it and despise it at the same time? Of course. I have that feeling about most video-games, especially PC games. This topic is meant to discussion games we all love and hate for various reasons, and REMEMBER everyone has a different opinion. I'll start off with a game that's currently free on Steam and has about at least over 100,000 people playing it. Yes, I'm talking about Team Fortress 2, a game where you can have the best time of your game life and have it ruined by a simple rocket launched at your feet by an enemy Soldier. I love this game for it's style of combat, definitely different from A LOT of shooters in this modern era. However, there is something you can hate this game for and that's the fact that no one tries to help you. If the game is called TEAM Fortress 2, you have to use teamwork in order to win. I'm not kidding when I have said that I have lost because half of my team was half-asleep and rest were noobs. Another thing is that no matter how many times you call "Medic!", the people who play Medic ignore you. I was at 25% health as a Pyro and my health-pack was stolen by some stupid Demoman on my team who only lost a sliver of health. I kept calling the medic and instead of healing me, he continue to kept his Medigun on the Heavy and he knew I was in trouble because I kept calling him and he looked at me, then continue to stroll by without a care in the world. Just because your goal is to Uber the Heavy doesn't mean you can't heal your teammates. And that's basically why I don't with a bunch of random people, so I can invite friends to play with. If you want to play TF2 or Garry's Mod with me and friends, send me a friend request on Steam.
Now it's your turn to share. Tell me, what's a PC game you like playing but you despise it as well?

I wouldn't call Skyrim a masterpiece by any means, but the game is so ridiculous and fun that I can't help but love it

What type, white or wholegrain?
I don't really play the PC version anyways since I have it on DS I can play it whenever and wherever. I have devoted a little more time to its sequel Riven though. I'm happy they didn't dumb down the difficulty on it, the Myst series may be hard, but I do so very much love a challenge.

The PC version is the best version of Myst, it's also a lot easier to control.
The sequels to Myst are okay, but Riven has to be one of the better sequels.

Yeah, I tried the iPad version (worst mistake of my life) and I'd go back to PC over that any day. I haven't really attempted any of the other sequels yet, but I have heard a lot that Riven was one of the better ones.
As far as Myst goes though, if I can ever finally beat the Organ puzzle in the Rocket, I might be a little more inclined to go back.

I have a question. Do any of you guys like and/or hate Super Mario World? I like it, the only 2 things I hate about this game.
1. The fact that there's a secret exit in every world after World 1: Yoshi's Island, however this does require a brain to find this exits.
2. The difficulty of the game as a whole. It gets pretty hard in World 3:Vanilla Dome. If you do beat the entire game, you have some skills.

LOL, no. Some of the secret exits are worth it, and they don't become ridiculous until World 5: The Forest of Illusion.

1. Super Mario World isn't a PC game.
2. Most of the levels in SMW are easy, I think even a small kid can beat it with no problem.
