Woody Walkway

hi
i made a level based around a simple wood theme called woody walkway
this level is going to be 1-1 of the episode The Revenge Of The Koopa Troop
i really want your opinions about what should be changed as for glitches bugs or overall errors
since i dont want a crappy first level for our episode

There's really not much to say about this level; it's just another Basic Grass Level. It's fairly short and the only enemies it has are Goombas, Koopas, Piranha Plants, one Venus Fire Trap, and one rainbow shell. One of the Goombas is blue, but it has no significance; it's just there to be inconsistent. The biggest problem would be that if the player enters the warp that leads to the first Advance coin, he/she is stuck there since there's no warp leading back; I'm sure you would have noticed this if you tested the level. Plus, there are only three Advance coins when levels should either have 5 or 0 (with few exceptions).

Also, the color of the sky around the cloud (background2-36) is purple, but the color of the sky below it (background2-35) is blue. Since using background2-35 places background2-36 just above it, it would be wise to sprite-swap background2-36 so that its sky is the same color as background2-35.

Summary:
GOOD:
-Graphics aren't terrible.
-Music fits the level well.
-Block placement is okay.

BAD:
--LITTLE NPC VARIETY.
-Random blue Goomba.
--PLAYER CAN GET STUCK.
-<5 dragon coin sprite-swaps.
-Inconsistent sky color.

In conclusion: This level already isn't anything special, so the existence of an area where the player can get stuck just makes the experience worse. I'd say this deserves a 3/10.

I am gonna fix the warps and the sky because they are meant to be good
What kind of npc's would you advice to add?

Maybe Koopa Paratroopa's, Paragoomba's or Hammer Bros

"Basic Grass Level" is what I call levels that are so easy, they're just boring. Sorry for any confusion.

Yeah, Hammer Bros and Volcano Lotuses would be good additions, and maybe some more rainbow shells. The level would need to be lengthened anyway to make room for two more Advance coins.

Why are we adding all this stuff to 1-1?

By the way the score value can be changed for dragon coins to make them 3 for a 1up.

The same enemies throughout the whole level generally gets boring after a while, which is why it should have a more variety of enemies. It still doesn't have to be hard, you just want to place more than just the same old Koopas and Goombas.
