IRC and forums crashed

I was on the IRC and I lost connection and couldn't get back in but this time it wasn't my connection failing, its the the site's with its own server. At the same time, my post failed to go through and this appeared:

This happens on me aswell but it got fixed shortly... but I honestly have no idea as of why this happens. Maybe just an temporary connection cut or something... but I am unsure.
