Hello everyone, I'm Gobenstraff and I haven't been on any smbx forums for years. Since I still play from time to time and have no one around me to talk about the game, I felt the need to join this place. I believe I never registered here as Gobenstraff is my username everywhere on the internet, in other words, there is a good chance you've never heard of me before.

I'm a former pixel artist, but I wasn't very talented despite all the time I sacrificed to become better at it. The last thing I made is my current avatar, which dates back to more than a year ago. I still love pixel art though, I think it's the supreme form of digital arts. I'm a person of no particular talent nor interest, an average joe with average knowledge one might say. However, I'm obsessed by the history of world war 1 to the point that seeing a banana or steak will make me think of a corpse I saw in a photo of the time. Other than that I love provoking people on youtube, I'm the kind of guy who says "God doesn't exist" just to see the mad debate that will rise out of it.

And now you might think that I'm a bastard for loving that and you're right I am. But I'm the nicest bastard you've ever met, trust me on that part. By the way, one of my numerous hobbies is translating from english to french and french to english, so if one of you has one day a need of that kind of stuff, you can send me a private message anytime, if your project interest me, I may very well participate in its translation. Apart from that don't contact me, it doesn't matter if you have a very good reason.

TL;DR I'm a mean average joe who has never been around here and I can translate stuff.

I don't usually download additional worlds. Though, if there is something like a second The Great Empire or a third The Invasion I might become interested. You see, I dislike change and new things and it's hard for me to try new stuff, main reason why I generally stick to old games or games I'm sure there won't be any dramatic change over the years. The The Invasion 2 came out with the new update (well at the time it was new), I waited a year before trying it.

Apart from that I had tried something called Return to Yoshi's Island, it was kind of ok, it wasn't bad nor really awesome but I did enjoy it a little.

Hey thanks, I think I may very well check out your videos sometime soon! I'm in the process of learning many languages and german is third on the list, at the moment I only know erwatch which I think means "wake up" and gut which I think means "good"... well you'll correct me if I'm wrong anyways right?
