7th GFX! if you're like white-black colors, this is for you.
thanks for fireflowerhour for giving the correct name!
and thanks for FanofSMBX for adding some stuff.
note : there is a cut-off, sorry about that.

What do the 80's have to do with this? If you were making this tileset replicate a time period, it'd make more sense to name it after the 40's or 50's.

I already did this like a year and a half ago lol, and it was freaking time-consuming as all heck. Nice effort tho

I saw something like this in SMBX:R, but in SMB1 style. Nice recoloring, though!!

I think I even still have your version of this! One sure was able to see how much effort went into it.
This one's kinda different though as it uses the black white filter on different sprites so it is kind of something new if people don't want to open Paint.net for 10 seconds.

This looks so cool. Typically seeing a level like this makes me think that a lot of skill was put into the graphics. Great one.

I can't see myself using this particular 19805000's tilesets, but the B&W colors give me an idea for a future level design that I would make that is reminiscent of the Runner's Vision mechanics in Mirror's Edge.

This is what it would be like if Mario was introduced in the 50's.
Actually, if that was the case, I'm sure that him and Luigi would be restaurateurs. Man, that's hard to spell!
