Relative to custom games/episodes or any games in general?
By custom ones, yeah, not always can be perfect but I am trying to do something different...
By any games relative to that, sometimes they can get annoying but once you get used to it (and that counts on customs too) you will get better.
To me, I personally find them nice to get it to the pray if the bosses are executed well enough into a game.

It depends on the surroundings. When a boss rush makes sense in the context and the scenery is beautiful, I love boss rushes. For example a mountain with stunning outlook and bridges, where the bosses are in caves or on the bridges, is a very good level, ass opposed to a castle with many boss doors or even constantly spawning bosses one after another.
TL;DR
I like boss rushes, when they are put in a believable and beautiful scenery that has an own gameplay value.

It depends on the boss rush: some are good, some aren't.

Boss rushes can be fun, but every boss rushes I ever played weren't fun at all: the bosses were buggy and annoying. I'm between yes and no.

In my opinion, a boss rush should go at the last or second-to-last level of an episode and feature most (if not all) of the previously fought bosses. The boss rush is more satisfactory this way because it looks like a climax for your episode. My "Mega Mario Bros." episode uses a boss rush this way because its design is based on Mega Man 1.
If you want an example of a well-implemented boss rush, look no further than the Mega Man series.

My favourite boss rushes have to be "The Arena" from many Kirby games, as they're optional and proposing a solid challenge for players who want more out of their game.
In SMBX, they're often lazily made, with the same flat boss spreading over multiple sprites.

Not for long though... B)
I have encountered a lot of Boss Rushes and surprisingly enough, they do gain a lot of attention for whatever reason but oh well... we can life with that.

I like them sometimes. But most boss rushes on here are just vanilla bosses or vanilla bosses with some other graphic on them. If a boss rush is truly custom, (not just the graphics) sure, I'll give it a go and probably like it. But otherwise, they take practically no effort to play OR make, and I hate those.
What Emral said basically. That's the stuff that people do on here, and that's what I hate. Someone needs to make a real boss rush.

If they're custom and well-made, then yes.

I think that if it has creative custom bosses, or at the very least some vanilla bosses used in creative ways, I think it has potential to be good.

Aslong as the bosses are custom and don't have frustrating aspects that are meant to tick you off, then yeah, I'd be fine with playing a boss rush.

Meh, boss rushes are okay, and certainly can be very good when done well with creative bosses, but there are different viewpoints. You have boss rushes as separate episodes and boss rushes in episodes, Personally I think if there is a boss rush in an episode that is a normal episode, I don't think it should be mandatory, like in the megaman games. But on it's own as a separate episode I think it would be a lot better and really if its creative and not just the same reskins of Motherbrain, Wart, and SMB3 Bowser over and over again then I think it could work and be really nice. Of course a good boss rush also has the right amount of power ups, I prefer mushrooms, since you cant fireball/hammer any boss to death. Honestly boss rushes aren't a huge interest of mine, but when their done well, I don't mind playing them at all.
