I keep on trying to implement dark link into one of my levels, but my level file lacks the .lvl thing that appears in every file for any level in the files of a episode, please inform me on how to get the .lvl thing in my level folder

Did you saved your progress while making a Level? Normally if you save it for the first time with your Name it will appear in the folder where you saved at.

First off, save. Second check Compatibility Files, .lvl files like to end up there quite a bit.
And yeah that is the real bossy

Computers are full of vocab
And yes that is really bossedit8...
Anyway, as bossesit said, did you save your level? If you didn't then there is no way to find it again.

Ok jeez D:
Try searching for it through Windows Explorer. It can take a while, so be patient.

Check in the folder that you saved the level to. Is there a "Compatibility Files" button anywhere? Level files love to end up in there.

Dude, chill.
Make a layer that reveals the star and make an event that shows the layer. Then, when the boss dies, make him activate the event that makes the star appear. And make sure to hide the star's layer.

Event Window -> New -> Press "New Event" -> (You can rename it for organisational purposes at the top and if you are ready for renaming it, press the "Enter" Key on your Keyboard) -> Add the Layer you want to disappear by an Event, add it on "Hide" (or hidden) and then "Add" it. Now you can see that the Layer has been added to Hide so once that Event has been activated, it will hide that specific Layer you placed out.
NPC Window/Tap -> Click on any NPC that you want to add that Event in -> On "Event" at the top right at the NPC Tap press "Show" -> At "Death" inside the Window that has been appeared, search for that Event that you have been placed out and click on that.
Hope this helps.

NPC = Non Playable Character
Basically objects that are mainly characters but not playable what so ever.

Inside the NPC window where a lot of NPCs are to use in the Level, at the top right of the NPC window there are 3 "Show" Buttons. One is the "Advanced" where you can Change some of the NPCs behavour and so on. The next one is the "Generator" where you can generate the same NPCs over again for example from a pipe. The next and last one is the "Event" where you can add specific Events on the specific NPC you selected and Triggers it of how you places out. Inside the NPC Event Window, "Death" means if that specific NPC has been died out (this specifically means if that NPC doesn't exists anymore ingame). "Talk" means after you talk to him from the message box, that Event Triggers. "Activate" means if that NPC has been appeared somewhere on the Screen, that Event Triggers. "No more Objects in Layer" means if all NPCs has been died out specifically by that Layer, that Event Triggers it (this is mostly common if someone wants to collect the 8 red Coins in a Level and after that a Star appears somewhere). The last Thing is not a Event Trigger but instead it attaches the Layer you placed out to that NPC.
