The Show (New Screenshots 2/2)

Alright, for real this time. I've made a few topics for an episode and I abandoned each and every one of them, usually because of computer problems, thus losing everything. But not this time! I'm here to stay, and don't be alarmed if I don't update all the time.

So this is my episode titled "The Show." It's a pretty short episode, consisting of 8 worlds (and maybe a special world?) with 6 levels in each world! That's right, 6! Not 5, not 8, but 6! (Not including mini-game levels, such as Hammer Bro. fights or 8 Red Coins.) I have also made it quite a challenging episode, with even the earlier worlds being difficult, so beware.

Mario and "the gang" hear about Princess Peach's "capturing" once again, but they're a little suspicious this time. Signs set up by the princess throughout the land don't have any similarity to the way she usually speaks or writes, but Mario insists that they go and search for her. Is it a trap? Is it another Princess Cliche? Who knows! Find out next time in The Show.

Your graphical choices are kind of out there, so that's cool. I'm not sure how I feel about the sizables in the third screen but I may need some more context.

I thought you needed a download link to keep your thread unlocked here, but cool game so far! Probably my favorite screens are the first and fourth screens. I absolutely LOVE the blue tileset (did you make it, BTW?), and you seem to have made a decent Yoshi's Island-themed level.

Some criticism however, you should probably use a restyled version of that star in the first screen, in the second screen, the SMB1 bushes kinda clash (a simple recolor would work, see LegendTony's SMB3 recolor pack) as well as the grey SMB2 platform. Maybe you should also use the blue versions of the SMB2 trees as well, but that's up to you.

On-topic: It looks pretty interesting, and I'd love to see it complete! I especially like that Blue-themed level.

I don't like the blue Piranhas in the second screen, but that may just be me. And the sizables in the forest screenshot are too dark to match with the background and SMB3 bushes. Otherwise, cool project so far!

Thank you all for your input! One of the few reasons I have an odd graphical choice is because I'm so bad at finding just what I need, so I settle for less. However, I'll take all of your suggestions into account and fix what needs to be fixed. Thanks again!
