Does this simply recolored Birdo boss have what it takes to become a master or a disappointment? You're about to find out.
Generally...
"Mario, watch out! That's Mecha-Birdo. It's tougher and more powerful than it's regular counterpart. It shoots super-fast balls of fire!
"By the way, you need to use bombs to defeat it. That's its only weakness."
The boss starts, however before I summarize that I have numerous things to mention to you:
-The Rinkas clash with the Super Mario Bros. 3 palette. Download Legend-Tony's GFX pack in the Graphical section of this forum and use that one. Alternatively, just contact me via private message or just reply on this thread me if you want it individually.
-Background objects/scenery is mandatory here. It lacks immensely, and a recommendations would be a mirror that hangs from the ceiling or additional chains.
-It is unnatural for power-ups to drop right down on you when you start the level. I would put two ice flowers on the corner of each side of the ends of the factory tile set. For the second phase, I'd apply two mushrooms on each end of the factory tile set, and this will take a few points off.
-The Bob-ombs seem to be blue, which candidly doesn't fit with the factory tileset or Birdo himself.
Either way, I discover a unique Birdo herself being extraordinarily brisk. Every ten seconds, two Bob-ombs drop from gray pipes. You can alternatively freeze the Bob-ombs and ram it into Birdo. The Rinkas make matters terrible, and it is very complicated to navigate between the two. So initially I am getting the hang of the boss, but thankfully the message at the beginning assisted me a tiny bit. At first, I was wondering where the hell are the Bob-ombs, particularly because I am impatient as it is. =P The second phase is barely any harder, despite the added fire bar. However, it creates clash with the SMB3 palette again. The respectable version of it is in Legend-Tony's GFX pack yet again.
After I beat him officially, though, it was a colossal delay between when the star appeared. I started to get worried that you forgot to add an ending which would take a full point off for leaving it unbeatable. Regardless, you pulled off an okay boss, but I'll be frank - it really was sort of disappointing. The flaws mentioned above really affect your final score.
