well this is still wip. I'm going to make the houses and probably i'll make a castle too, so it looks like a seaside kingdom.

For what I see on that screen there are already houses, or at least I can see part of it.
Anyways, it look nice, love the terrain. If you're going to make houses you could maybe use some bricks GFX to make them look nicer, overall becuase that's what Seasite Town houses are normally made of, and the fact that they normally aren't painted. Looking forward to more updates.

Working on a building tileset, or at least the outside.

If you look at the bottom of that sprite sheet, it specifically says it's from Flappy Bird so yeah. =P

Correction: Its Flappy Birds-inspired. The pipes and the ground patterns are the only ones that were directly modified from that game. Everything else is custom-made by me.

I'd suggest you to modify the fill a little bit, it looks way too bland. Otherwise it looks really good. Ahh, now I'm in a bad mood remembering that f***ing game.

Modifying the fill of the ground with texture included will then break the graphical style Flappy Birds employ as it does not focus on texture that much unlike other games. Also, I wasn't going for the SMB3ish style a lot of you do in your tilesets. This is for the most part , a conversion for a more defined aspect ratio of 16x16 for each tile.

SMB3 styled graphics aren't the only once with a good fill, it has nothing to do with it. Nonetheless I understand if you make a fill it will no longer look like the one from Flappy Bird.

New woodland tileset based on the original one from SMB3. This along with the other tilesets I've shown in this thread are going to the GFX Pack I'm going to release some days later.

You probably should have made the top part a few pixels thinner so the flat slopes don't require two corner tiles, if you know what I mean. The secondary corner tiles are pretty difficult to tell from the fill tiles. Otherwise, they look pretty good. Maybe make them less yellow, I don't particularly like that tone.

Don't worry, I know what you mean. I'm planning to make them replace some SM blocks instead.
By "secondary corner tiles" you mean the ones that connect ground and wall? Don't worry, once in the editor it shall be easier to tell the difference.
Better now?

I was talking about these tiles the whole time:
I don't know what to call them, but they differ from the fill tiles by six pixels which makes them almost useless.

Oh, if that's the case I used SMW pipes for that because I'm sure many people won't like to add one block just because of those 6 pixels.

The development of the BeanBean Kingdom-like temple is going pretty well. I might make something else for it, but do not expect any enemies like I made for my Aztec Temple Pack, I do not plan to work too much on this.

I do have a reason to bump here, and it's that I have started to work on another tileset that I came up with after seeing something BloodElf made. It's a SMB3 Brick based tileset.

Looks nice, Natsu. It looks to me like it could be used as a generic grassland kind of tileset too. What is the lighter-colored part for?

It's supposed to replace a sizeable. And thanks.
