THIS PROJECT IS GOING TO TAKE A LONG TIME because school has resumed and homework takes a lot of time up along with the school day itself
My project one of those journeys has been cancelled, and a new thing has come to take its place...
INTRODUCING NEW SUPER MARIO WORLD! where everything's different! THERES WATER IN THE SKY MARIO! (no jk)
Yes everything will be different, but I can assure you that NO water will be in the sky...instead there will be warts who shoot bubbles with the power of machine guns, and koopalings who have a very fast wand and shell attack, and what I predict as the most deadly one, the speedster ( or was it bowser? ).... you know that enemy in the misc. that just bounces around with its sword in front of it, your gonna like when I did that because now it travels at lightning speed and slices through you like a knife through butter.

I expect to be done in a few months, it all depends on my motivational level.
Total current progress: sticking true to how the original Mario functions, I have all 4 levels of world one done, plus a cut scene that you go through when you beat the world 1 castle. And so you can't go back to the cut scenes for free stuff, there will be no world map. But if you do open the file for the world, I have some tips in the credits of the world...yet it hasn't come out yet so you'll have to wait to rage at Mario for real...

I AM NOT MAKING THIS UNFAIR, IT HAS NO TROLLS THAT ARE REALLY BAD IN IT...I don't think
also, this is not as hard as the Japanese version of smb2 ( the lost levels ) where there are jumps that pretty much aren't possible ( and probably aren't since I'm stuck at level 1-2 )
A demo, and multiple screenshots will be put up soon, for the demo I will have to fix a bug in the map ( a really frustrating one )
demo info: the demo will consist of worlds 1 and 2, each with 4 levels, in between each world you will visit a very useful structure called the hut, at the hut you will be able to grab tons of lives and power-ups ( you'll need them )

why did someone have the guts to put down a walk in the park in the votes, when I found that it was pretty much just after I had posted the demo and there would not have been enough time for that ( and plus the game is not a walk in the park ) also notify me if anything is wrong with the demo, mainly the houses that are in between worlds, because I had problems with that, so if you by chance get to that and can't proceed, notify me so I can attempt to fix it in some way

this project will not be done in 2 months with schools starting up, and since I am making the levels actually look good, decreasing difficulty, and making the levels, combined with other stuff can lead me to say that this will probably not be complete until quite some time, but expect the final version to be good. (Once i get enough done I'm planning on making a teaser trailer for this, I may or may not do this, you will know if I release one somehow, I will probably do some type of thing to broadcast the trailer, probably on youtube, so whatever)

I added unedited screenshots of areas in the game (demo for now) I have no idea when the real full version will be done, I will tell you in about 2 months due to my constant lack of motivation ( although it has been going smooth so far... )

They look bland imo add some bgo's. Also the miniboss thing looks kinda meh..

I will take that in mind when I develop the full version, and about the bosses, they are difficult, the entire thing is difficult, there is a lot of timing and reaction involved in this game, and this is just a demo, I will more than likely change the full thing around some, and note that you have to keep the ALL txt files with it so that the NPCs act right. ( the txt files are what apply all the difficulty to this thing) most of the world 2 concepts are having speedy projectiles while having to wait for a veggie to appear so you can throw it at the boss, and the banzai bills are also really fast, as I said a lot of its up to your reaction time.
I also formatted the "boss nearby" music of smb2 so that it looped without fading away and used it in this, since it was not a part of the default music for SMBX. It plays MOST of the time in the section that you go to after the miniboss is dead, the section that holds the star/exit
